Intel centrino wireless n 1000 issues1/20/2023 I can usually connect eventually by repeatedly disconnecting and connecting, but the connection usually doesn't last long enough to finish a -Syu. ![]() So I would like to be able to access the wireless networks in Linux reliably. Has anyone seen this, and is there a known fix? My wireless works OK on Windows, but the only reason I ever use Windows is for wasting time playing video games, which is suboptimal for studying. As per the instructions perform the following after downloading the firmware: tar -xvzf iwlwifi-1000. If memory serves correctly that should work for 13.04 but to be sure run the command: uname -a. NOTE: the link provided is for kernel versions 3.2+. ![]() I have been having problems connecting to wireless networks since I have gotten to college. In your case, as was mine, I downloaded the firmware for Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000.
